    	ABSTRACT
In reinforced concrete constructions it is important to carry out studies so that concrete and steel work together offering durability to the building. This research focuses on the study of reinforcement corrosion on concrete slabs exposed to atmospheric aggression and environmental from 3 characteristic sites in Panama. Physicochemical evaluation methods, measurement of medium-cell corrosion potential and analysis of optical images with stereo microscope were used. The experiment lasted 1.5 years. The results are presented in microscopic tables and stereo images that show local environmental damage to sample specimens.
