PySVAE is a Python code used for soil vibration analysis, the code's utility is focused on simplicity, as well as the accuracy of the processing and coding optimization. PySVAE focuses on H/V spectral ratio analysis in which the peak frequency value is needed, this code is also a practical approach for researchers studying earthquake engineering, specifically peak frequency determination. The code emerged from the need of a simple and consolidated tool for this analysis, without the need of deep programming knowledge. The requirements needed for the analysis are 3 data files: one for each axis, from an accelerometer or a geophone and the sample frequency of the measured data; the processing gives as result the peak frequency value and the smoothed graph for the given data. The final version of this Python code was assessed with preliminary versions and validated through data of zonal peak frequencies. PySVAE showed a satisfactory result during tests by giving realistic, representative values, and accceptable execution times corresponding to the implemented coding optimization, and code reduction.
