  • ABSTRACT

Due  to  the  COVID-19 pandemic,  the  year  2020  was  a  year  of  transformation, where  all  human  beings  had to  adapt  to  a  new  modality  due  to  COVID-19. Organizations  and  companies  in  the  logistics  sector  did  not  escape  this,  facing challenges such as supply, poor traceability of the products or services provided, the low inventory turnover in most products, highabsenteeism due to positive COVID-19 cases,  cuts  in  wages  and  work  suspensions,  resulting  in  economic  crises  and disruptions in many of its links. In  this  research,  the  practices  adopted  in  Panama  by  supply  chains  due  to COVID-19  were  identified  and  how  these  help  organizations  in  our  country  to  stay afloat in the face of various current situations, where good development effective and efficient  logistics,  supply  chains,  is  key  to  the  development  of  all  the  links  that comprise it. It should be noted that resilience has been the best option that allowed us to face the new market realities. At the same time, is one of the biggest challenges, as  multiple  organizations  have  yet  to  adapt  due  to  financial  problems  and  vision  for the future
