BACKGROUND
Today in America, gun related shootings are becoming more common. 1123 people have been killed in the last 50 years in the United States in mass shootings. Preventing these mass shootings is very important and is the motivation for conducting this research. The aim of this study is to stymie the mass shooting activities by tracking guns with use of RFID Technology. Not only is RFID an efficient means of tracking the guns, it is also the most economic when compared with other means of weapon tracking. This paper explains the concept of tracking guns with RFID Technology and discusses its feasibility.
